Management Caribbean Vocational Qualification Course Level 3

This CVQ Management Level 3 allows you to evidence the key skills, knowledge and competence that employers would expect of someone working in a role that involves leading a team. It is also appropriate if you are responsible for the control of activities and work output of a team.

It is a competency-based qualification that supports you in confirming that you are proficient in a role where you have responsibility for the control of activities and work output of a team. You will develop a portfolio of evidence that meets the assessment criteria in your chosen units. The units encompass a broad range of competencies from the management and leadership sector allowing you to contextualize the qualification to your own occupational field.

It is appropriate if you are responsible for the control of activities and work output of a team. It is relevant if you demonstrate recognizable management skills, which may include setting team objectives, planning and implementing change or managing a budget or project.

There are no formal entry requirements for the qualification and there is no need for you to have completed any lower level qualifications beforehand. However, it is anticipated that you will have the ability and opportunity to demonstrate recognizable management skills.
